Carlton began working with Georgia Power in 1974 as a Security Officer. Quickly moving through the ranks, he was Security Training Specialist for Georgia Power Company Corporate Atlanta by 1978. In the mid 80’s he advanced to the Nuclear world as Senior Security Training Specialist and Course Manager for Nuclear Security Training at Georgia Power Company Plant E.I. Hatch. He evolved to Rescue Training Coordinator, Confined Space / High Angle Rescue with Southern Nuclear handling all fire, security and rescue training for personnel at Plant Hatch. His background also includes Public Safety as Rescue Chief and Battalion Chief for Toombs County Emergency Management and Fire. He has served as a Contract Instructor for both Georgia Fire Academy and Georgia Emergency Management Agency for many years. Having a passion for security and safety, he is an asset to the organization and has been part of RIGHT from our inception. Carlton brings a wealth of knowledge from the industrial world and has served his community for many years providing insight and guidance to assure the safety of all First Responders.
