This device is used not only in technical rescue but by other professionals such as arborists and others needing a simple solution to a basic problem. How do you use your vehicle as an effective anchor? The Instant Anchor does this by transforming a receiver hitch into a multi-point technical rescue anchor.

This simple, yet essential device will revolutionize the way you rig an anchor.  No more webbing wrapped around greasy frame members, tow hooks, or tires on apparatus or POVs. Anywhere you have a 2″ receiver, you can have an Instant Anchor ready to attach your lower system, raise system, belay system, or tag line.

Rigging an anchor has never been so simple. This engineered tool is specifically designed and tested to meet Rescuer needs when time is of the essence.

Instant Anchor is American made.  It is carbon steel, that is plasma cut, welded by Certified Welders, third party strength tested to assure it exceeds NFPA requirements, and powder coated.  It is predrilled for horizontal or vertical installation into a 2″ receiver.  The device is 13″ long, 8 1/2″ wide, 2″ high, and weighs 7.5 pounds.  The 3/8″ plate has eleven rigging positions including two 1.5″ by 1/2″ beveled webbing slots, eight 3/4″ holes and the center hole is 1 1/8″ to accept a clevis or shackle.
